Gota patti laid by hand, zari worked into a jaal, ajrakh printed with wooden blocks.
The Collection brings together the techniques Anjali returns to again and again. Each piece starts with a traditional craft and is cut to be worn today: at a mehendi, a puja, or a long family dinner.

Anjali Thakur
Anjali designs for the moments families remember: the mehendi afternoon, the pheras, the first Diwali in a new home. Her clothes start with traditional Indian textiles and handwork, cut into silhouettes that feel easy to wear today.
Every ANJ piece is made to order in her studio, finished by hand and fitted to the person wearing it. She still meets many of her brides herself, from the first sketch to the final trial.
“A piece should be worn on the day, and then handed down.”
